The history of our folklore group stretches back to the period of the former group Nezábudky (Forget-me-nots). A group of adults interested in folklore was formed from a mentioned juvenille group and they act as „Mlynček“ (quern) with adult and children members withhout any age limit.
Nowadays, Mlynček has got 20 members, 5 of them form a cimbalom band and the rest of the group are dancers. Our aim is to offer the spectator songs and dances from different regions of Slovakia. We are also interested in traditions of our neighbouring countries, you can see Hungarian and German songs in our repertoire, too…
